Grunwald Monument

A monumental statue commemorating the Polish-Lithuanian victory at the Battle of Grunwald in 1410.

The Grunwald Monument stands on Matejki Square near Krakow’s medieval city walls. The monument depicts King Władysław II Jagiełło and commemorates the famous victory over the Teutonic Order.
